Nestled in the town of Arviat, our small hotel serves as the perfect base for your adventures. Each day, embark on daily expeditions in our rugged Land Rover Defender, venturing into the Arctic wilderness in search of polar bears, arctic foxes and other captivating wildlife.
Whether you’re an avid photographer or simply someone yearning to experience the majesty of a polar bear in its natural habitat, this trip is tailored for you.
As night falls, be enchanted by the mesmerizing dance of the Northern lights, offering you the chance to witness this spectacle in all its glory.
Join us on our exclusive, small group trips, where every day promises exciting discoveries and unforgettable encounters with the wonders of the Arctic wilderness.
Itinerary

Arrive in Arviat where you will be met by our team who will transfer you to the hotel. There will be time to settle in before we have a briefing about the week ahead.

During these days we will be heading out on daily excursions looking for polar bears and other arctic wildlife. The durations and destinations of these drives will depend on the weather conditions and the wildlife we encounter.
At the end of each day we will drive back to the hotel for dinner. If the skies are clear there will be opportunities to view and photograph the northern lights for those that wish to.

After breakfast we will check out of the hotel, and have time for one last drive on the tundra looking for wildlife. We will head back for a late lunch before we transfer you to the airport for your flight back to Winnipeg.
